Mission Statement

Our Purpose is
to act as a source of information for the membership, other organizations and the public, on the current state of electric vehicle technology in Central Florida.
To encourage the purchase and use of Electric Vehicles in Central Florida. To encourage the installation of Electric Vehicle charging stations in public places, such as shopping centers, work places and public buildingss, airports, and train station paring areas and garages. To encourage experimentation in the building of electric vehicles, particularly to improve energy and resource efficiency, reduce emissions and improve vehicle safety. To promote and organize public exhibits of electric vehicles built by members and others for the purpose of informing the public about the progress of electric vehicle technology and conducting public opinion polls. To use all media, such as newsletters, web sites, information packages, and other paper and electronic media designed to inform the public and promote the cause of electric vehicles. |
Meetings are held the last Sunday of the month at various locations in Central Florida including Orlando and Winter Haven where the largest number of members reside.
Specific information about upcoming programs will be posted with locations as they are decided upon by the officers, with input from the membership.

March 3rd Winter Haven
The next meeting of the CFEVA will be in Orlando. The May 5th meeting in Winter Haven is canceled so that we can put our effort into supporting the Orlando event on the 26th.

Winter Haven willresume in June.
Among the all electric vehicles present ait the meeting, here will be a Nissan Leaf, a Toyota RAV4-EV and a Ford Ranger Conversion.
The meeting is open to the public. If you are wondering if an electric car would suit your needs, here is a chance to learn from owners, drivers and builders.
